Today the Akin Campaign highlighted a new poll conducted by KMOV-TV, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and the Kansas City Star shows the race between Todd Akin and Claire McCaskill in a statistical dead heat.
"Missourians know that while she might not talk like it in Missouri, in Washington, DC Claire McCaskill votes like a big government liberal," said Rick Tyler, senior adviser to the campaign. "McCaskill was the deciding vote for Obamacare, she helped shape the failed stimulus bill, and she has voted for $6.9 trillion in new debt in six years. The Obama/McCaskill policies are only leading to more spending, more taxes and fewer jobs. We can't afford another term of McCaskill and Obama. Todd Akin's voting record is simply a better fit for Missouri than McCaskill voting with Obama 98% of the time."
