Input on Joplin Tornado community memorial to be taken at meeting

(From the City of Joplin)

Joplin Master Developer Wallace Bajjali will host the public and the Joplin Citizen Advisory Recovery Team during two informational meetings on Monday, October 29. The meetings will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again, be offered at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Joplin City Hall Basement Conference Room.
During the meetings David Wallace, chief executive officer and co-founder of the development firm, will provide an update on multiple disaster recovery efforts, and discuss potential development plans.
CART will solicit public input for a community memorial under discussion. These informational meetings will provide citizens an opportunity to voice their thoughts. The public is encouraged to attend and participate.
In initial presentations from Wallace Bajjali, Wallace noted that his firm is committed to holding public meetings such as this one, as they provide an opportunity to keep the citizens informed and gain their input as Joplin’s redevelopment progresses.
