Update provided on Joplin Tornado documentary "Steadfast"

The following update was provided today by Greg Fish, director of the upcoming Joplin Tornado documentary, "Steadfast."

Here's your Steadfast update. I am very excited to announce that post-production on Steadfast has gone amazingly well, even better than anticipated! We're really proud of the finished product. We are right on schedule to finish up the fine tuning, get DVDs ordered and to us in time for the Premiere and first showing. This will take place at College Heights Christian Church in Joplin on November 19th at 7 pm. For those of you who live in SW Missouri, I hope that you will not only make plans to attend, but also help us spread the word about this event. My hope is that this film will continue to raise awareness of the ongoing need in Joplin, and also that it will help encourage the city of Joplin and its residents. I believe it WILL accomplish those two goals.

I want to thank all of you for your support. For those living outside of the area, www.steadfastdocumentary.com has a place where you can pre-order the DVD, if you haven't already, and we will ship it to you the day of the premiere. For those attending the premiere, they will be available for sale at the event. The DVD comes complete with special features-- two additional shorts and 15 minutes of deleted scenes. As you tell your friends about this project, remember that 50% of all profits will go to rebuilding efforts.

The Joplin Globe will be writing a story closer to the premiere. We are sending out press releases to the other news agencies today. Of course, word of mouth is the best form of advertisement  Again, thank you for your support. Mark your calendars for November 19th. I hope to see you at the premiere!
