Governors Association pours $1 million into Greitens campaign

The wild west spending continues in Missouri politics as the Republican Governors Association based in Washington D. C. contributed $1 million today to the Eric Greitens campaign, according to a filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Greitens has received $1,263,000 in oversized contibutions this month, including $100,000 from HTH Companies, Union, Missouri, and $50,000 from August A. Busch III, St. Louis.

His general election opponent, Attorney General Chris Koster, has received $200,000 in oversized contributions, with half of that, $100,000, coming from an August 4 contribution from the International Union of Operating Engineers EPEC, Washington, D. C.
