Joplin Police meet comfort dogs injured in Saturday shooting spree

(From the Joplin Police Department)

This morning, several members of the police department that responded to the Saturday morning shooting at 32nd and Connecticut got to meet comfort dogs Louie and Jackson.

Along with several other members of their team. We are glad to see they are on a fast road to recovery. We wish a speedy and full recovery to all of those involved. We are just glad to be able to help.

(The comfort dogs were in an Immanuel Lutheran Church van Saturday morning. Police say Tom Mourning, 26, Joplin, fired on the van, injuring three people and the two dogs.)
