Silver Lining details a turbulent four-year period in Joplin history in detail with one revelation after another about some of the names that have become associated with the city in the post-tornado era, including Rohr, Huff, former Mayor Mike Woolston, Texas con artist David Wallace of Wallace Bajjali, R-8 Assistant Superintendent Angie Besendorfer, Joplin Globe Editor Carol Stark, investigator Tom Lorraine, and City Council members Bill Scearce and Ben Rosenberg.
