Links provided for top Turner Report/Inside Joplin posts for the week

This week's top Turner Report post, and now the fifth biggest post the blog's 13-year history is an investigative piece on how President Donald Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education helped buy the governor's mansion for Sen. Roy Blunt's son, Matt, in 2004.

The post was published 15 days ago, but has been gathering steam in the past several days as the controversy over the DeVos nomination grows and it becomes apparent that every vote is critical.

Other top posts include the departure of KSN's Brad Douglas for a post at the Joplin R-8 School District, the news that a gunshot victim not only faces pending charges for assault on a police officer, but also had drug charges dropped by the Jasper County prosecuting attorney.
